The brief

A modest fashion boutique lives or dies on how fabric, drape and styling read on screen, and Esra Gurses Boutique pairs a deep Turkish catalog (dis giyim, pantalonlu and etekli takim sets, triko-kazak, plus Vakko and Silkhome scarves) with a premium tone. The brand needed a storefront that felt as composed as "dogallıgın en zarif hali" promises, while still handling discounts, an outlet, and imported lines.

  • Conveying fabric quality and tailoring detail through imagery, not just price, for shoppers buying modest occasion and daily wear
  • Organizing a layered catalog (outerwear, tops, bottoms, coordinated sets, accessories, premium imports, outlet) so nothing feels buried
  • Reflecting an understated luxury tone in Turkish while keeping the free-shipping threshold and sale pricing clear

What I built

Gencer Karakaya built a fully custom Shopify theme tuned for a modest fashion catalog. Collection templates lead with large editorial imagery so the cut and drape of each tunic, set and coat reads at a glance, and product pages surface fabric and sewing detail alongside size and styling notes. Navigation maps the brand's real structure (sets, knitwear, scarves, premium imports, outlet) and sale pricing plus the 2,000+ TL free-shipping cue stay visible without clutter.

  • Custom Liquid sections for editorial collection grids that prioritize garment imagery and drape over dense product chrome
  • Product templates that highlight fabric, sewing detail and styling alongside compare-at sale pricing for the discounted lines
  • Menu architecture mirroring the catalog: coordinated sets, triko-kazak, scarves (Vakko, Silkhome), premium imports and outlet
  • Performance and image handling tuned so high-resolution lookbook photography loads quickly across mobile and desktop

FAQ

Was this a custom Shopify theme or a marketplace template?

It is a custom Shopify theme built in Liquid for Esra Gurses Boutique. The layout, collection grids and product templates were designed around the brand's modest fashion catalog rather than adapted from a generic boutique theme.

How does the theme handle a modest fashion catalog with sets and scarves?

Navigation and collection templates mirror the real range, coordinated pantalonlu and etekli takim sets, knitwear, outerwear, and curated scarf brands like Vakko and Silkhome, so shoppers reach each category quickly and styling reads clearly on every page.

Does the storefront keep sale pricing and free shipping clear?

Yes. Product and collection templates surface compare-at sale pricing for discounted and outlet items, and the 2,000+ TL free-shipping threshold stays visible, all integrated into the theme without cluttering the editorial layout.
